One of our favorite things about the month of December is the focus on GENEROSITY. From putting some change in the red kettle to food drives to providing an extra gift for someone in need, we just seem a little more in tune with the needs of others and ways we can contribute.

December is also the time when many of us consider an extra gift to the ministries we support. As you think about ways honor Jesus this season, we invite you to consider some creative ways to give:

  • Appreciated Securities – in addition to receiving a charitable income tax deduction, you will also avoid paying capital gains tax. We have been honored to assist our donors in giving over $1.5 million to various ministries in 2021 through gifts of appreciated securities.

  • If you are 70 ½ or older, you can give through your IRA. These gifts can help meet your RMD and reduce your taxable income. We have helped to facilitate our clients in giving over $800,000 to various ministries in 2021 through these gifts.

We would love to talk with you about these types of gifts and answer any questions you have about your year-end giving. Contact us today to begin the conversation.
